Dammit, DeRo DP. The Indians are up 5-4 going to the bottom of the 7th, but I doubt they can hold the Yanks without a run the rest of the way. Just pitch Smith this inning, and find a way to get to Kerry in the 9th.

Remember they were in dead last well after this point last season.

 

Well this season they don't and won't have Sheets and won't acquire Sabathia at the deadline.

No, but they have Gallardo, and could conceivably pick up another quality pitcher in the next few months, and those bats have to pick up sooner or later.
