just a couple of quick observations

 

Buff got the early penalty for goalie interference because of reputation. The refs have seen the replays of previous Hawks/Canucks games.

 

Canucks got a goal because Eager was more concerned about being an idiot instead of playing hockey.

Announcer fella for Vs. just nailed it. Vancouver is bogging things down in the neutral zone pretty well, playing Minnesota hockey. Surprising, but they really must be intimidated by the Hawks' firepower.

 

And Buff is all up in Willie Mitchell's head.

 

Willie Mitchell is really a terrible skater. He must be frustrated seeing the hawks forwards fly by him. Vancouver has played Minnesota style hockey all season. Just look who their coach is. They really aren't very good 5on5, especially when the sisters aren't clicking. They need to play Wild-style because their d-men are slow and they don't have elite forwards besides the Sedins.
