I'm really looking forward to seeing this team play on the road, especially in a Canadian venue.

I'm not. I'd be happy for two more at the UC right now...

If this team is ever going to take the leap into elite status, they are going to have to win in hostile environments. The first 2 games were great for getting them playoff experience, but playing with the crowd on your side is probably a help.

Good. I was kind of afraid they were going to start this game @ 9:30. Like that basketball game last night.

I love watching the Canadian teams and I generally root for them to do well in the playoffs. Watching those playoff games in Edmonton a few years ago was incredible.

But yes, I'd prefer a few more home games right now. Sitting here thinking about the game tonight, I'm suddenly nervous/paranoid. If they lose tonight, it's only one game from being 2-2. OMFGLLDFSAOFLFA!

This is the first game I at least get to watch at home by myself. The first two I was with hockey novice friends and their wives. I was clearly more interested than anyone else. I couldn't really go through my screaming/yelling/cursing/rejoicing routine. Tonight, it's wake-up-the-neighbours time.

8:30 start, game should get over about 11:00. Not too bad. I feel old. Can hardly stay up that late anymore.

Hawks' website says Kane is a "gametime decision" for tonight but there are no details. It's one of the top stories, but the link just leads to the general game preview article.

A big part of me thinks they won't miss him.

I know, I saw that basketball time on the schedule last night and it just seemed like complete madness to me. 10 years ago I would have been like, "cool late night sports!!"

Kane out? Wow, I didn't see that coming.

It must still be from that hit by Borque. It was a tough hit, but not the kind that should keep a star out of a playoff game. I know, it's easy for me to say. But 88 needs to toughen up a bit.

He needs to get out there and play. I hate to say it, but Kaner is gaining a reputation for being soft and that's not good.

Thank God!

I had clinical time today from 7:00AM - 3:00PM. I am home and it's not even 4:00! Can do some studying and STILL get to watch the Rangers/Caps game as well as the Bulls/Celtics AND Flames/Hawks!

Kane has been basically invisible in the playoffs. Not that I want him to be out, but if it was Toews we were talking about I'd be panicking.

He's still really young and physically a kid more than a professional athlete. But it could be difficult to overcome such a label if he does sit out. The playoff games have really shown just how much more valuable Toews is to this team than Kane.

This camera angle is really REALLY awful... WTF is this.

Ehh, its better than the angle that they had at MSG, I'll take a bit too close to the ice any day over a camera from the friggin roof.

Jeez, the flames are trying to turn this into a Philly/Pitt game.

Kane with the flu, don't think we'll miss him.

We will. In ways that will be hard to notice, but the Flames defense will be a little bit better because they won't have to worry about him.

Hawks look excellent in the first two minutes.
