It was nice to see Cub hitters making a struggling pitcher work and only taking what he's giving for once. Hopefully this is a trend that will continue.

 

However, if he was struggling and lefty, he'd have been out of that inning in 8 pitches.

You think we'd take 8 pitches? I think we could get ourselves out on 4 vs. a lefty.

Any idea what the wind is gonna do to balls tonight? Cubs really didn't get anything in the air in the inning.

 

I believe they showed before the game that it's blowing out to left.

well, he only threw 26 pitches to 9 batters. and 8 were to lilly.

Wow, with the wind blowing out, the short porch, Carlos Lee hitting and Ted Lilly pitching, I assumed that was gone off the bat.
