Marshall hasn't won the 5th spot, and Milwaukee and St Louis are both much improved over last year according to them

In the first, Figgins reached on a wild pitch on a strikeout and then a walk and two groundouts brought him around.

 

Marshall's line so far-2 innings, 1 hit, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K

 

Fukudome and Lee had singles in the first, although Kosuke was also picked off of first base.

 

That's hilarious about their supposed knowledge about the NL Central. It always seems to be those AL West announcers who seem absolutely clueless.

Cubs down 1-0 in the second, but Marshall with 5 Ks after 2 innings. Impressive.

Not a good last outing of the spring for Mr.Marshall, lets hope that doesn't carry over to the regular season.

Lee with a solid 2B to the LF corner, he's 2-2 today and it looks like he got over that injury he ran into 2B pretty well.

Marshall was pretty close to lights out this spring, he was due to get his butt kicked one of these games.

That was certainly one of the poorer starting pitching performances. Patton got a go of it as well I see. Im sure we see Gooz and Gaudin in there as well today.
