Uhh...Milton Bradley sorta flipped out there....

Ump called him out on a close force play at second, Milty wasn't happy with the call and hopped up arms-a-flailing and then walked back to the dugout muttering angrily to himself.

Fontenot can't hit lefties. I was hoping he would develop this skill eventually, but its not going to happen.

I agree he's looked awful against LH pitchers when I saw him play this spring. He had alot of trouble making contact against Zito tonight and even Buerhle last Sat. If this keeps up, I'm sure we will see alot of Aaron Miles against LH pitchers.

Swirling winds expected in the Scottsdale area tonight.

I made this comment as a purposefully lame "fukucopter" spinning around and creating winds joke. Didn't realize how apropos it would actually be.

That reminded me of a game I pitched in high school. It was the third consecutive time I faced the same exact team. And the wind was absolutely insane. It was blowing straight in, and felt like it could have added 10 mph to my fastball, which wasn't fast anyway. It didn't help me at all though as the only thing I could rely on in high school was control and changing speeds. My slow breaking stuff was worthless in that wind. But at least the hitters were incredibly uncomfortable the whole game.

I think that was going to happen all along.
