Who Should Be In The Cubs Bullpen?

Yeah, he might have to sign a minor league deal with some team, and make his way back to the majors. I could see the Padres or Orioles picking him up with there rotation issues. David Patton better be the real deal. If he's the next Rocky Cherry or Carmen Pignatiello and we end up sending him back to the Rockies by end of April or May this move could really suck. Lets just hope we don't have major rotation depth issues, and Gaudin is pitching well for someone else. Because if Patton ends up sucking and that happens, then this move could be a major mistake.

I'd think if Heilman is going to be pitching in the back end of the pen, that he'd likely be one of the last possible alternatives.

Gaudin was never the same after that mysterious back injury he had last year. I probably would have released Vizcaino over Gaudin but 2 mil to eat is easier than 4.

What happened to Chad Fox? Hes not on the 40 man or the Iowa roster. I know he was a non roster invitee, but I though he was going to accept an assignment to Iowa.

It depends on his tolerance of pain (which I think is pretty high). He could just sign with the Reds, take the money, and then wait a week before Dusty blows out his arm again. Either way, he's sitting at home in June.
