Nomar to sign by mid-week

The A's did have a good offseason, they added some good hitters and relievers. But should have probably tried to get some bargin free agent pitchers. There current rotation is Justin Duchscherer, Dana Eveland, Dallas Braden, Sean Gallagher and one of Gio Gonzalez, Josh Outman or Edgar Gonzalez. Right now they might be one starter short, especially with Duchscherer having arm issues. Right now they could use a Joe Blanton, Greg Smith or even a Chad Gaudin. I think they might have traded away too much pitching over the last year, but they needed to trade some guys to get a few other players.
