Good news for the Lee family, which learned in recent months that daughter Jada doesn't appear to have Leber's Congenital Amaurosis, the rare genetic disease that leads to blindness, as was diagnosed three years ago. Her eyesight isn't gaining strength and doctors haven't identified the exact disorder, Lee said, but her vision has stabilized. ''It's a huge relief,'' he said.

Good to hear. Although it's sad that she has lost some vision, it's good news.

Good to hear. Although it's sad that she has lost some vision, it's good news.

strange (and a little frightening) that they have a mystery on the hands again. But it surely is better than the previous diagnosis. That's good to hear.

Hell, this is probably 5 months ago, and going off of memory, so take it for whatever it's worth. But around 5 months ago, Lee was being interviewed on XM radio, and when they asked about his daughter, he mentioned that there was a possibility his daughter was misdiagnosed, but he went on to say he was still committed to Project 3000. I'm assuming that hasn't changed.
