The Steelers are not getting a lot of love in this thread. The Cards are a great story and I am a big Fitz fan, but I think the story book doesn't get its happy ending. LeBeau will figure out a way to contain their offense enough to win, as long as our O doesn't turn it over. If you play this game ten times, I think Pittsburgh wins seven of them.

As for Ryan Clark, he plays extremely aggressively but within the rules. If McGahee doesn't duck down, their helmets never touch. I also take issue that the Steelers are a dirty team. Football is a violent game and the Steelers play violently between the whistles.

I don't know how much truth there is to this, but I heard that if the Steelers win this is the final game for Dick LeBeau.

You heard anything like that?

Interesting historical note about the matchup. The Cardinals (then in Chicago) and Steelers were merged as the Card-Pitts in 1944 due to World War II. The previous year the Steelers and Eagles were merged as the Steagles. Despite having players from both the Cardinals and Steelers franchises combined on a single team they went 0-10.

you get enough oxygen, there?

if fitzgerald doesn't grab him, breaston pushes him out of bounds.

and the sun shines on the steelers once again. this is the luckiest franchise in the history of pro sports. yeah, chicago has had layoffs and stockyards and mills close, too. where's the cubs' luck?

defensive lineman arent supposed to do that. i always knew that the kinship i felt for the cardinals as a saints fan was for a reason....pathetic

James Harrison is an outside linebacker, not a defensive lineman.

At least he's not complaining about the refs yet.

Of course, there's still the whole second half to go.
