I'm rooting for the Eagles to get utterly demolished next week so that, by some very, very slim random chance, the Eagles will cut McNabb and the Bears will sign him.

Not happening, but I can always hope.

After the Titans sign Donovan, the Bears can have Kerry Collins. Sound good?

as long as you don't mind replacing Julius Peppers with Dusty Dvorecek

Orton and Collins actually have very similar numbers. I never realized that.

When Brady went down all bets were off with the NFL this year, what a crazy year.

Eh, I was just giving you a hard time.

I wonder when the last time was that two 6 seeds beat two 1 seeds in the same year?

Donovan McNabb is about to play in his 5th conference title game, which unless I'm much mistaken is more than any active quarterback, including Brett Favre (who's played in four to my recollection) and Peyton Manning (I believe three).

I think Brady has 5.

Yeah. Also up there is Warner, who will be playing in his third next week.

The overturned Scaife catch that led to Bironas missing the FG was awful as well - he probably didn't get his right foot down, but I couldn't tell for sure. It was not conclusive enough to overturn it.

I can tell you that this call was correct dew. He had gotten his right foot down to start, but he was bobbling the ball. By the time he caught it, his right foot clearly came down out of bounds. One angle showed it quite conclusively. My guess is that they didn't show that angle at the stadium.

I'm sorry that you had your first Titans game experience go that way. I'm glad you had a good time anyway.

If there was an angle that showed that conclusively, they certainly didn't show it in the stadium. I've seen far too much recently referees ignoring the "conclusive" part of the replay rule, and this appeared to be another one.

And it was an awesome time. I'm definitely planning on heading back for a game or two next year (and hopefully a playoff game or two as well).

There definitely was a good view on television that showed that he was bobbling the ball and only got one foot down.

It's never happened.

I didn't see it in the stadium, but it's not like it'd be unheard of for the home stadium to show only the good replays.

Thats probably a TD if Rivers makes a good throw

Jackson didn't even catch it.

?

If it's a good throw it's caught in stride.

Sorry, I should have edited it. My attempt was to agree with ELCABALLO that with a good throw Rivers has a TD. As it turned out, though, Jackson didn't even catch it.

That make more sense?
