not only have the bears choked, but my second team (bucs because i live in tampa) is choking even harder. 9-3 and then they lose 4 straight and are going to miss the playoffs after blowing a 10 point 4th quarter lead at home to the raiders.

 

awesome day

 

kind of cool that philly has a chance now though. that seemed highly unlikely a few hours ago

Yeah great Chicago can boast of 33 games of good hockey. Maybe we can make the playoffs for the first time in 7 years

 

 

Don't really care about the Blackhawks, like millions of others in my generation who grew up in Chicago. Thanks Bill Weurtz. Moron.

Chicago is one of the best sports cities in Chicago and each team except the Blackhawks have been successful this decade. It's just been a miserable year with the Cubs and Bears in 2008.

 

Maybe successful in terms of making the playoffs I guess

 

Bulls have made the playoffs in 3/8 seasons this decade and have won 1 playoff series

Cubs have made the playoffs in 3/8 seasons this decade and have won 1 playoff series

Bears have made the playoffs in 3/8 seasons this decade and have won 2 playoff series and advanced to one championship game

Blackhawks have made the playoffs in 1/8 seasons this decade and won 0 playoff series

 

So Chicago teams are 10/32 in making the playoffs and are 4/14 in winning playoff series this decade and have advanced to 1 title game and won 0 championships this decade.

 

That's far from a successful decade by any measure.

Oakland is still beating the Bucs with a minute left.

 

We would need an onside recovery, a TD and an Eagles win.

 

And a two-point conversion? Or another OT win?
