According to this article Williams might be making Dye available this offseason. I'd rather have him over Ibanez and his contract isn't bad.

The White Sox recently have done a good job of getting high ceiling young players who have struggled in the big leagues but were considered pretty big name prospects when they were coming up the ranks (Danks, Floyd and Quentin). This would be a good idea (especially if Bailey is willing to listen to coaches) and I'd imagine Dye is not going to age well given his previous health history.
