USC Florida would get the best ratings so that should be the title game :D

Screw that! We should make the national championship game Notre Dame/Ohio State! That'll get viewers!

demote the cowboys, they play notre dame. best-rated national championship game ever.

dont' forget, PSU shouldn't be in the title game because Ohio State lost the last two. I hear this logic all the time on sports radio and can you really deny it? I mean, PSU '08 is exactly the same team as OSU '06 and OSU '07, amirite?

if texas tech wins, can we even bump them up? this win is as good as a loss

actually if texas scores here and then kicks the extra point, and it ends up being a one point longhorn win, then the red raiders should not receive a loss, since the extra point doesn't really count for anything and the game is really tied and going to overtime.

You're right on this one. They match up better with the SEC teams. As I said last week, their athleticism depth doesn't match up and I'd be worried about them in the second half against a USC, Florida. I do think their defense could stop Big XII teams and their offense could put up enough points to win against them. Not sure they can do much on Florida or USC. They won't be able to score much, and I think the depth of skill athleticism of USC and UF could make it ugly in the second half as the starters for Penn State wear down.

man, this is so confusing

all close games should just be tossed out, a win is the same as a loss, a loss is the same as a win

only blowouts will count in mephball

I think your knowledge of the Penn State depth is lacking. Their backup QB, HB and TE are as good as the starters, and they are 5 or 6 deep at WR. Whether the PSU defense could match up with the speed of, say, Harvin is up for debate

i'm okay with that, penn state only has one non-win (ohio st game)

Where do you rank Ball State?

just let them score a touchdown, it's gonna happen eventually

This sounds like a take of the "Kobe Bryant rape joke" on Family Guy. :-k

im not saying that they dont have good depth. i am saying that they don't have the depth in pure athleticism of Florida or USC. Sure they have one or two guys who can match up speed wise for Harvin. Florida and USC have four or five other guys on offense alone. And I'm really talking about their defense more than anything. I don't think they'd be able to score much on Florida or USC, two teams who have better defenses than Ohio State and a lot more speed and depth.

No, that counts, since Ohio State had no business being in that game. Ole Miss is 2 plays away from being undefeated, though, and it was a miracle Florida didn't make a 2-point extra point to beat them.

Ball St. would be the 2nd best team in the Big 10, amirite?

texas tech is shooting itself in the foot by not letting texas score

I concur. Even if Texas scores/2 point conversion, Tech still only needs a FG to win. Let them score. Get the ball back with plenty of time.

nice, texas tech left themselves enough time to score

this is the Big XII....each team might score two more TD's in this amount of time

(AP) — Texas suffered the worst loss in school history in its 33-32 win over Texas Tech on Saturday. The win is expected to drop the Longhorns behind Texas Tech in the standings. The Red Raider's loss matched their biggest win of the season.
