Watching any game on MyP2P for free

Can somebody tell me a few things about this? I'm watching the Mets game right now for free through a link from here:

Is this stuff legal? If it isn't, am I in any harm of being caught or anything?

 

Do these sites give you any virus' or spyware?

 

I know some people use this alot, so if you do can you give me some answers so I know if I can keep using this?

It is probably illegal, although I think you should be okay. They don't have a lot of baseball games normally, although they do have every NFL game every week. I haven't noticed viruses, but it does give spyware, which is fixed for me by running spysweeper after i watch games on there.

Yeah i'm thinking it's illegal for the streamer but that they can't do anything about the people watching it.

I've used MyP2P for a long time and never gotten a virus from it.

 

The legality has never been tested, though as people said it would probably be bad for the streamer and nothing could be done about the watchers.

Yeah I was just checking it out...looks good. Is that just your preference or is there any reason why you like it better?

this is the reason i didn't fork out for the extra innings package this year. I discovered this place last football season.

 

This is not illegal as the logic is the people streaming are doing so after paying something for it. There is nothing illegal about paying for cable and then letting your friends watch TV when they come over.

it's in the Terms of Service that you agreed to when you sign up for mlb.tv i'm pretty sure. my friend got mlb.tv last year and actually read the whole thing.

besides which, a grainy picture on my laptop is a bit less fun to watch than the hi-def feed on my 46" LCD
