Think Yost will get another job somewhere?

He was a pretty terrible manager.

I think the Yardbirds should fire LaRussa and hire Yost.

Yes. Yes, that's definitely what they should do. Today.

Posted
So, does this fire up the Brewers or do they just roll over??

JIMMYBOMB!!!!!!!!!!! 2-0

I hope it makes them roll over and die. This is the last chance for the Brewers to make the playoffs for a loooong time... They traded their prospects for a rental who isn't even going to go to the playoffs.

Yost just got canned, while tied for the WC - and still in the Central race.

Wow. I thought they'd at least wait until after the year.

:rotfl:

Ok, that was kinda lame to say that... but breathes a little life in them if they can find a way to sweep us in the next 3.

Is it me, or is soto running noticeably slower than he was at the start of the season?

I'm looking forward to seeing Geo get several days off these last couple of weeks, he deserves it.

So you'd rather face the Phillies (or Mets) in the first round of the playoffs?

Welp.... Brewers done for the year... hahahahahaha!

Eh, I would think just the opposite. May light a fire for the rest of the year knowing noone is safe and everybody has to fight for a job. Frankly, I hope they pick it up enough to win the WC because I really would rather not play the Phils in a 5 game series.

Even though we'd get the first 2 at home, vs anyone, I agree.

Much rather have to face LAD in the NLDS before Philly.

Anyone else noticed the Phillies are only a game back of the Mets and a cakewalk schedule the rest of the way? I think the WC race will be between the Brewers, Mets, and Astros in the next few days, with the Phillies winning the East.
