i'm guessing they picked the comments from the dumbest and most stereotypical people they could find.

I can say with 100% certainty that its not true. Richard Savage- 1908- is my grandfather. He's a lot smarter than you or I will ever be.

Wow thats amazing. When watching his video, I was actually marveling at how "with it" he is for being 100 years old. You should be proud. Does he live in a nursing home?

No. In fact he still lives alone although they have someone that comes in to clean. He still does his own taxes and writes a column for the Notre Dame alumni association newsletter.

That's fascinating. I don't think I'll live to 100, but if I was going to, I would definitely want to be like him.

The next story down about the woman that turned deaf and blind is just depressing and happens to way too many senior citizens for me to want to grow that old.

Why does the article say that Ronnie Woo-Woo generates so much hatred from certain people?

What's the story behind that? Because he gets free tickets to every game?

Wrongo

He does NOT get free tickets to every game. The tickets he gets are from other fans. He is a giant pain in the butt. Plus he's a prick to everyone who works there.

Yes. He gets free tickets from other fans.

Fair enough. I was assuming he thought the cubs gave him free tickets as that seems to be the common misconception among cubs fans i talk to at games.

No but he did get free teeth from the local bar owners.

I thought the piece was outstanding. I liked it in the opening video when they say we wait for our parents..for their parents...and that our kids will wait for us.

I also liked how the brain researcher said if we let out emotions control us we'd say "let's run onto the field and beat the hell out of those guys!" I think we can all relate.

Finally, that Wrigley Fields is a cute little kid.

Oh, one more thing, count me among the fans who thinks about 5 seconds of Ronnie Woo-Woo is enough.

How is he a pain in the butt and a prick to the staff at Wrigley? I'm not trying to be difficult or incredulous to the claims about him--I'm just curious.

And is it the same group of fans that gives him tickets? How does that work?

Roast told him to sit down and he didn't.

Woo isn't that bad. You people need to lighten up. As a goof, me and a buddy got our picture taken with him after the big Rockies comeback in May. He saw us a little later at a restaurant just down the street and he came and sat down at our table. We talked Cubs for about 30-45 minutes or so. He never asked us for anything and was very respectful. He actually has quite an extensive knowledge of Cub history.

Anyone who believes the 100 thing or 69' or 03',etc has any effect or bearing on this season is an idiot.

QFT. I hate when I'm talking baseball with people, usually non Cubs fans, and when I make a good point about the Cubs, they say "Yeah...but they're cursed..."

I think all curses are BS, plain and simple.

Anyway, on the off chance that any of you would be interested in learning more about the whole process of being interviewed by ESPN, I've written about the whole thing. You can read it here, on GROTA.

The actual TV spot was about 2 minutes long which was disappointing. Are they going to air the whole thing?

Yeah, that totally sucked. They said you had to go to ESPN.com to watch the whole thing. How soapdropping stupid.
