This is like the 5th straight shellacking of Webb/Haren, 4 of those coming in big games against the Dodgers.

The Dodgers are a pretty good example of how quickly thnigs can (and probably will) turn around for the CUbs. 8 straight losses right into 7 straight wins.

DBacks pitching is not so hot.

Which means they'll be on fire when we play them in the playoffs.

Hopefully the Cubs get to face the Dodgers in the NLDS.

Too many innings on those arms?

So the Angels and the Sox are in the 15th inning. With the Angels magic number at 5, I would just have my pitchers (angels) throw up meatballs and go home and sleep and not tear up my bullpen anymore.

1-0 Brewers over Peavy of course

Man, I hate all 1-0 baseball games. So boring. This one is especially frustrating.

Oh well, hopefully Phillie will get swept in the double header and the Cubs will win tomorrow, reducing our MN to 10.

My cousins are at the game (amusingly enough, 5 out of 6 of them there are Cubs fans). One cousin caught a foul ball (out of 3 hit near him; he does not have my good hand-eye coordination). Three others got on the jumbotron. Amusing.

I am completely the opposite. There is nothing more exciting than a 1-0 game.

Maybe when it's someone else who's playing, but I'd hate to watch a scoreless Cubs game go on for too long.
