Of course theyre lame, what do you expect when 2/3rds of the city is just a trailer park that evolved into homes with foundations?

the whole city is bush league, the Brewers organization bush league, the fans are nothing but bush league. The Brewers should have been contracted years ago. Only for the grace of a really good used car salesman...

I normally just spectate, but I must comment on this. This is one of the least intelligent and asinine comments I have ever heard. I hope for your sake you are kidding. You and I both know this statement is not true. There are plenty of places in your beloved Chicago that I could make this statement about, but choose not to.

Yeah, we know. It's called the South Side. And go ahead and make the statement, we won't mind.

Lots of ignorance in this thread. Cant we all just get along and make fun of this one idiot for his stupid idea?

No, because the one idiot that came up with the idea isn't the one that needs made fun of. He is making bank on the lame people who buy the shirts from him.

I honestly doubt he's gonna make much more money than just to cover the cost of dreaming up this stupid idea in the first place.

I disagree. I had to start a shirt company for a class one year, and shirts are dirt cheap if you import them. I bet he didn't have to sell many at all to cover his costs.

Although he probably isn't going to retire on the income from the shirts, it's a nice money making scheme.

I already made that joke. It hurt less when I said it.

Do they sing a song predicting victory after the victory has already happened?

I loved this comment.

Also, the one time I went to Milwaukee, I met David Cross. It's probably my favorite city in America. Plus, they brew so much beer there... what's not to like?

the beer they brew

Ha... fair enough (hey, I'm from St. Louis). Although damned if I don't love a good PBR, because I am a douchey hipster (it's really not a Milwaukee beer anymore, but whatever).

You should try Lakefront beer. It's the only good beer in Milwaukee.

Zambrano began the ninth by getting Humberto Quintero to ground out on one pitch -- it was his 100th of the game. After pinch-hitter Jose Castillo also grounded out, Erstad chased a full-count pitch low-and-away for Zambrano's first shutout since 2004.

With his jersey untucked, Zambrano paraded triumphantly through a series of interviews in front of the Cubs dugout, then waved to the still-cheering crowd as he walked down the steps.
