"Concept" Cubs Jerseys I found

Came across these on another forum, but not sure who to give credit to for making them...

 

 

I've always wanted the Cubs to switch to an all-white home jersey... I actually thought these looked pretty nice. I'd rather have the regular Cubs logo on the alts though.

Also, the proposed "home alternate" is kinda ehhhh, one because it's just the current BP jersey with names, and two because jersey numbering should never be the same color as the jersey with only an outline to differentiate it, regardless of what the Braves and Angels want you to think.

The Cubs will probably never get rid of the pin stripes though.

I do not like the red underline on the road jerseys. I'm all for some "new" uniforms, but I really like the current ones.

Agreed. I thought it was cool at first, but when the cubs rolled them out I really didn't like how they looked.

why not take the logo and numbers off while you're at it?

 

I think names on the back are a far lesser problem than vest jerseys, multi-colored caps and alternative jersey colors

Agreed. I thought it was cool at first, but when the cubs rolled them out I really didn't like how they looked.

 

For me, it was the opposite. I was a skeptic at first. Loved it when I actually saw it. I think the Cubs went back to names so they could sell a crapload of Soriano jerseys. Buying a generic 12 isn't the same to fans.

 

 

If we're gonna get really into specifics, I wish our jerseys had the "blockier" numbers as opposed to the rounded out ones we have...but I really don't care that much. Just something I've noticed over the years.

 

The different colored name/number aspect of the road jerseys is sort of unique. I wonder what they'd look like if they were uniform though.

The red underlined Chicago looks hideous, as does the all-white.

 

I do like the idea of navy blue, the throwback unis they wore back in one of the first interleague seasons in US Cellular were great.
