3-run triple for Hart, 6-1 Brewers

Terrible, horrible and awful.

The most painful thing about it is these teams will fight tooth and claw when we see them, we all know when the Nationals come to town they wont pull their "4 runs in a 4 game series" act

Everything about the Padres is miserable. Their team...their park...their fans. They just seem like a terrible team to be a fan of. So boring.

The park is nice, great part of town and everything. Their fans only care when the Dodgers or Giants are in town.

It's even nicer when it's overrun with Cubs fans. "Wrigley West" indeed.

When I said park I was talking about the ridiculous dimensions that make the games extremely boring.

The Cubs will just take care of the Brewers themselves like they did 2 weeks ago. The Brewers got hot after we left town and they are still 4 back in the loss column. I'd be steamed if the Cubs won 7 in a row (8 after tonight) and they could only pick up 1 game in the loss column during that time.

Not only that, this is about as soft a schedule as the Brewers could ever see. The Cubs have faced the Astros (Red hot and over .500), Cardinals and now Braves, while the Brewers have had the Reds, Nationals and Padres.

With that decided scheduling advantage, they have picked up a mere game. They'll get swept or lose two of three in LA.

That would be the best of both worlds. LA would push both the Brewers and Arizona down the standings.

I hope Ned keeps riding CC hard. Let him go for another CG, please

114 through 7, and up by 6.

03 Cubs bullpen syndrome. I forget how that turned out, both short-term and long-term, but it couldn't have been TOO bad, right? Keep it up, Ned! :good:

Dodgers have come back from down 6-1 to tie it. We're headed to the bottom of the 9th. Arizona already lost so the Dodgers could be tied in the NL West if they pull off the win.
