I completely agree. Where did I ever argue that he is better than Khabi? I never said any of that. I wouldn't even have a problem with starting Khabi every day and making Huet purely a backup. All I'm saying is I don't get why so many people act like Huet is horrible.

I think we fundamentally agree, and I can just see Cyno banging his head against his desk rigth now and throwing his monitor against the wall. So I'm going to let this one go. Until Huet's next start.

Hahahaha.... It's all good.

Thank God it's almost time to go home... and for the first Tuesday or Thursday in a month I don't have a 5 hour class waiting for me after work.

Wish there was a game tonight.

Alright, the Blues are ripe for a beating tonight.

They lost the lead with three seconds to go last night and eventually lost in the shootout. Mason played Thursday and last night. I think to play him again tonight would be a sign of desperation from Murray, and I don't that's in his character. So, I'll probably be shown wrong now, but I think it will be Holt in goal tonight.

EDIT: The Post-Dispatch is saying Mason is "expected" to start tonight.

This is a gut check game for them. If things go south early, Janssen will be looking to scrap with everyone.

I'm freaking stoked.

It's Friday, work is slow, Hawks tonight AND tomorrow...

But that's not all...

For a combined Christmas/Birthday gift, my grandparents in Finland and my mom and dad are flying me out next season to Helsinki to watch the Hawks/Panthers series!

I get to go to a NHL game with all my Finn friends... I hope I can remember any of it!

That'd be a sweet way to celebrate a Stanley Cup.

The next two should be good. The Blues games have been fun this year even though we've lost most of them (except for the last one when the Hawks played like crap.) And Dallas has been playing pretty good.

And tomorrow's game is a home game

Yeah, figures the first home game in forever would fall on Valentine's Day. Wife is not a terribly sentimental type, but I don't think she'll enjoy sitting there watching me yell at the TV all night.

Hjallis Harkimo doesn't want to speculate if Florida and Chicago are even options for the Finn-NHL hockey game. He basically denies it.

The article out of Miami was quoted and supposedly denied.

Jokerit maksaa pelistä tietyn hinnan NHL:lle, joukkueista riippuen.

The Jokerit pays a price for every game to the NHL, depending on the team. Afterward it is the Jokerit problem to get themselves financially balanced.

You could say that the Jokers couldn't afford the Montreal Canadiens on any circumstanses, more likely a small team like Florida.

--------------

I hope this is just posturing and Harkimo didn't want to announce something that isn't "official" yet.

I'm really looking forward to this one. Let's actually show up this time plz

Holt is likely in goal for St. Lou.... basically another no name, like Jonathan Quick.

I swear if he plays like Roy, like most no names like to do against us, I'm going to break things.

jonathan quick has been spittin' hot fire since he got called up though. it isn't just against the hawks.

holt was pretty amazing in the AHL though.

Wish I could cry about bad officiating... but good lord stop taking these dumb penalties (ESPECIALLY YOU, PATRICK).

Jesus, are they trying to throw the game away already?

Thank God the Blues PP sucks dick.

I have to say it: written Finnish kind of looks like random keyboard strikes. Huhgkjj kshgdfuuu kjwherkwj. Poajaghwe.

It's really not that difficult, there are no prepositions... just verb endings, once you get the 15 of those down you're in good shape grammar wise.

is eager scared?

Hell no, he's incredibly smart.

He and Janssen have already fought twice this year and they didn't like eachother in the minors or college or something, this is nothing new. He knew he could bait Janssen into a fight, which technically he did... then backed off... trying to piss Janssen off and make him do the extra cross-check or shove and draw a penalty... I love it.
