i think there's a local broadcast for non versus games. the kings havent been to the playoffs in a hundred years so i can't remember if we had them for the games espn had or not, and i dont know if that changed with versus, but i know at least non-versus games get local coverage.

VERSUS will carry half of the games for most teams in the 1st round. CSN will carry the other half.

Versus will carry a good chunk of the games. They pretty much have games every night.

 

And yes, CSNC will carry the rest. My understanding is that Center Ice fills in the gaps and makes sure every 1st and 2nd round game is on.

Obviously on VERSUS you will be seeing the Wings/Flyers/Rangers/Penguins EVERY FREAKING time they are on.

Yahoo also carries a couple of games a day during 1st round of the playoffs. Its not the greatest feed, but it is watchable. Between them and versus I have been satisfied with the games I get to see the last couple of years. Of course all of Detroits games get coverage so that is what really matters to me.

 

Cyno dont worry, if the Blackhawks stay competitive for the next couple of years, they will get the same coverage as the other teams you mentioned

Yes. The three division winners in each conference get the top three seeds, so even if the Hawks end with more points than CAL/VAN (which is likely), the NW Division winner will be 3rd and the Hawks 4th.

I hope not too many games are on VS as well (stupid University cable). It would suck to follow the team for the whole damn season and not be able to watch the playoffs. I'm sure the games that are on VS will be streamed somewhere (legally :good: )
