This is the trap... the most coward "hockey" you'll ever see... this is an embarrassment to the league and hockey in general. Someone PLEASE remind me (dexter I know you will) to never watch another Hawks/Wild game... ever....

You can't fall behind to that team if you expect to have a chance to win or to keep your fans watching. Ugh. I skipped most of the second period to watch 24. Glad I did.

 

Sucks I'm gonna miss Wednesday night's game on account of work travel, so it'll be over a week without Hawks hockey. But I'm glad the break is coming now. Give the young guys a chance to take a breather. Let Kane's ankle and Dunc's head heal.

 

Before tonight's game the Hawks had the 4th seed by I think 7 points with FOUR games in hand on the two closest teams. Q should be able to keep these guys focused enough to not cough up that lead.

Yea it does suck you'll miss the Blues... gonna be wild after that cheap shot on Kane at the end of regulation on Saturday... you can always bet on a fightfest and heavy hits when the Blues and Hawks meet.

I know, but I really hope this isn't what we're going to get the rest of the year. 5-5-1 is a point per game average. 36 points the rest of the way would get us 94 points. That's probably good enough to get in the playoffs, but not good enough to hold the #4 seed.

 

It's probably just the Cub fan in me, but I'm going to be worried until they clinch a spot.

Considering how well they play us, the intensity of this game and it being Blues/Blackhawks I don't think taking the game lightly will be an issue.
