per rotoworld:

Sean Gallagher is expected to go on the disabled list with a sore shoulder.

That explains the wildness Monday. A source told the San Francisco Chronicle that Gallagher felt a "pop" in the shoulder in his July 25 start against Texas.

I thought it would be Harden that went to the DL first. Maybe Hendry knew something that Beane didn't.

Ugh. Hope it isn't serious.

That Gallagher would get hurt a month later?

hope sean is ok, he was one of my favorite cubs.

His dad said in another thread that its only a pulled muscle and no damage to the rotator cuff or labrum.

That's good. Hopefully he'll only miss 15 days.

That was meant to be a little tongue and cheek as everyone always says Beane must know something everyone else doesn't when he unloads his pitchers. With Harden's injury history I think most people would have thought it more likely that Harden would be the one to the DL before Gallagher.

Best of Luck to Sean - glad to hear it doesn't sound structural.
