Forecast for Daytona, FL: Monsoon.

The day after Rich's initial rain out is a good day, thus far.

I think it's hilarious that Daytona has had 1 rain out this season that wasn't on a day Rich Hill was scheduled.

Is it bad that I get more excited that Hernandez pitching means that it's almost time for Jackson to pitch again, than for Hernandez pitching himself?

If Hernandez gets back-to-back good starts, I'm sure you'd stop that nonsense.

Hill has poor control of his breaking ball according to the announcers, which wasn't the case in his last two starts with the D-Cubs.

At what point do you consider shutting him down for the season?

I don't know when the Cubs consider it, but I've just given up on his chances of helping the Big Club this season. He's just too messed up to be of any help in the near future.

Yeah, that's kind of where I was headed. Even if he straightened things out relatively soon, I don't think anyone could trust him this year on a postseason roster.
