Well, tonight's Brewers/Astros game has gotten a little bigger. Though it isn't a huge deal, the fact that the Brewers were 8.5 out not tool long ago and can now tie for the best NL record speaks volumes about how well/lucky they have been playing lately.

Right, because acquiring the reigning AL Cy Young award winner was pure luck.

Winning 100% of your games over a stretch longer than 3-4 games involves luck, plain and simple.

You're right, everything they have done so far was based on their skill including the Cubs losing. There was a reason I put a hyphon between the two as it has been a combination of both, not that I said one was more than the other, but I did put skill first.

Well, winning 7 in a row on the road is pretty lucky, especially when the team winning those games can't hit with RISP and three of those games were won on HR's in the last inning. Nothing wrong with admitting when the ball is bouncing your way, IMO.

Yeah because after all, that AL Cy Young award winner plays everyday, right?

LOL Wandy balks allowing a runner into scoring position... Why do I get the feeling either Cameron or Kendall get him in?

And just like that... 1-0 Brewers

I gotta go, I am going to drive myself nuts if I sit here and watch the Cubs fall out of sole possession. Have a good night guys.

I'm not watching this crap anymore. Lee and Tejeda kill the Cubs all they want but can't produce a run against Manny Freakin Parra.

Manny Parra is good. At least it's him and not someone like McClung, Bush, or Suppan shutting them down (even though they probably will this weekend).
