Yeah our bullpen sucks, but to make a joke about a 3 year old girl is pretty tasteless, but oh well IMO

 

 

What you were going to say Carlos Marmol? The guy who has been great all season except for the last couple of weeks. It has to suck that the only guy you can find to bash on our team was a potential all star at one point. I guess that is what you have to do when you are six games back. Even after your great trade, you are 2-4 at home against Colorado and Cincinatti.

 

Since May 17th Marmol has a ERA of 7.18, but keep making stuff up its working for you.

 

From May 17 to June 15, Marmol had an ERA of 3.71. He pitched in 17 games, allowing runs in 4 of those outings. One game with 3 runs, one with 2 and two games with 1 run allowed.

 

Since June 15th he's had three horrendous outings (June 19, July 2 and July 12) which have inflated his ERA. So you could make the argument that, at the most, he's had a bad month. He was very, very good for the first 2 1/2 months of the year. Even if I extended that stretch, he had a 2.93 ERA going into the June 28 game, after which he has an ERA of 12.79.

 

You're fighting a losing battle about Marmol here and you're making way too big of a deal about what was clearly a joke.
