(Axel F---the Beverly Hills Cop theme---plays in the background)

I like the "Harden" and "Wood" jokes, as much as the next guy, but what about the "Get Rich" schemes? Get Rich Hill throwing like he should, get Rich Aurilla in a trade (and his numbers are not that bad for the role he would be acquire to fill, the RH pop off the bench), to go along everybody favorite new Cub, Rich Harden, and the Cubs could do that "Get Rich" schemes.

Well on Monday the Cubs got a Harden and they have been trying to relieve it since then, hopefully they get it done tomorrow and don't have to end with Wood. :hello:

So when harden was taking his side session on thursday I snapped this picture on my phone. Looks great on the phone, unfortunately it looks like crap at full size:

Oh well, I tried.

ESPN says the game will be on FOX.

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/schedules

WGN's site says the game will be on FOX also, but they have a start time of 2:55 listed, so who knows.

The game was moved from 2:55 to 12:05 sometime in the last week, so the 2:55 information (and likely the FOX information) is dated.

Here is the wish for tomorrow's contest:

We get to see a Harden inserted, perform well for a long duration, and then be replaced by Good Wood; & then everyone goes home happy and satisfied.

Man, I'm so pumped that my rotation in the ticket page I'm in ended up with me having tickets for this game. If rain delays keep Harden from pitching, I'm gonna be pissed.

Harden always seems to be at his best against the National League. He hasn't lost in four Interleague starts, only giving up two runs for a miniscule 0.67 ERA. He logged 33 strikeouts and six walks in 26 2/3 innings against Atlanta, Florida, Philadelphia and San Francisco. General manager Jim Hendry probably knew about Harden's NL prowess before he pulled the trigger.

Looks like Jimmy has some ownage on one Mr Correia.

Which of course means he'll go 0-4 tomorrow with a couple of Ks. :P

It's times like this that makes me wish MLB.tv had a "Pay Per View" option. Something like $2.99 to watch a game or something. That way, if something like a major debut for a top player comes up and you want to watch the game, you have that option without buying the whole package.

So if anyone won't be using their MLB.tv account tomorrow and wants to let me use it for a day, let me know ;)

FYI, mlb.tv is running an all-star week special that starts tomorrow for 2.95.

Remember how awesome/enjoyable it was to watch pitching when Prior and Wood were dealing in 03 and we would count up K's and crap?

We get to do that again today. Sweet.

A cluster of thunderstorms, some capable of downpours, threatens as the day begins. A second cluster of scattered storms may develop later this morning into midday, then increase in coverage while settling south into the southern suburbs and into northern Indiana. Some severe storms possible. Though passing downpours may accompany any of the heavier thunderstorms, there will be rain-free hours. Precipitation should end altogether from the northwest beginning this afternoon. Rainfalls averaging 0.50 to 1 inch are possible, but locally heavier totals can't be ruled out. Warm, humid conditions dominate this morning but gradually yield to drier air this afternoon and evening as brisk 11 to 22 m.p.h. southwest winds shift west and then northwest at 11 to 23 m.p.h. Cooler and becoming much less humid Saturday night. Clouds diminishing. Clear skies late.

Trying to be somewhat optimistic here, but at the very least, I guess this could turn into a night game?

Doesn't our resident meteorologist say that weather.com sucks and accuweather.com is the way to go?

Still, the 1 o'clock T-storm would suck bc it would mean Harden would probably be knocked out of the game. Oh well, here's hoping the storms miss Wrigley *knock on wood*.
