Make that 7-1 as Fielder somehow hits a 2-run triple. How does he get a triple?

Maybe the outfielder fell down?

I think he's had two inside the park homeruns

I want to thank you cub fans for coming to Miller Park in the lean years for the Brewers, if you guys didn't help out maybe the Brewers don't sign Braun to a long term contract our make a trade for CC so thanks for your help.

ok....

And if you guys didn't suck for 24 years you wouldn't have had to prospects to trade for CC.

Brewers, there is no sense in trolling here and making all Brewer fans look pompous. If you are looking to have a good discussion here that is one thing but there is no sense in trying to upset a teams fans at their own board.

I wouldn't call that a long term contract for Braun considering he would have been under team control for all of those years, or at least almost all of them.

I think the more pertinent question here is what were the seismograph readings like at the time of that triple around Miller Park??

i've been to baltimore plenty of times; any list that has baltimore as the fittest city is completely bogus. see that number in parenthesis next to the city name? that's where the city ranked the previous year. do you really think baltimore went from the 25th-fittest city to the fittest city in a year?

Rival magazine Men’s Health had a different take on Baltimore. In its current issue, the magazine ranks Baltimore 93rd on its list of the “100 Best Cities for Men,” with grades of “F” in health and quality of life and “C+” in fitness. San Francisco tops the Men’s Health survey, and Honolulu is No. 2.

Baltimore residents seemingly would have had an easier time believing the Men’s Health ranking. When told of the Men’s Fitness honor, they invariably reacted with shock, bewilderment or outright laughter.

“Baltimore lives on junk food. That’s why we’re all standing here,” said electrician Mark Smith as he surveyed the scene at Lexington Market. The popular downtown lunch spot has dozens of kiosks selling fried chicken and cheap Chinese food.

“I’ve been eating here for 21 years,” Smith said. “I walk around and think, ‘What’s the lesser of the evils?”’

for my money, though, nobody does fat like the south or appalachia.

Too bad we didn't do enough so you could sign CC long term...was it worth it? I mean to give up Laporta only to win the Wild Card and that's it?

Alright, easy now ... your post reeks of a big market team bullying a small market team. This is why small market teams hate the Cubs.

LOL at Brewers trolls. Finally beat the NL's worst team and come here and brag about your team and city that won't make the playoffs, nice.

I don't consider myslef a troll but I don't consider the Rockies the NL worst team IMO.

They deserve bragging rights. Splitting a 4 game set against the rotting corpse of the 2007 NL Champs is no easy task.

I think they're referring to your little buddies that have been posting in this thread.

(To them, not to you) After just splitting a series with the Rockies at home, with Sheets and Sabathia both pitching...that's probably not the best time to get all cocky.

Yeah. Most Brewers fans are cool, but there are a few who obviously don't have any perspective. Even the prospect of success goes to their heads.

It is completely conceivable that the Crew misses the postseason this year, Sheets and CC leave, and all of this talent never equates to a postseason appearance.

Take it from Cubs fans (those who have been fans for more than five minutes), cautious optimism > arrogance. There's nothing quite like the taste of your foot.
