Since Eyre went on the DL retroactive to June 27, he should be eligible to come off July 12 (saturday). Has there been any word on if he'll come back then or if the cubs will just wait until the first day after the break?

I found this on Eyre.

Meanwhile, left-handed reliever Scott Eyre, who has been on the DL since June 27 with a strained left groin, will throw Thursday and Saturday for Class A Peoria. The Peoria Chiefs have Friday off, which is why Eyre can't go on back to back days. Eyre will not be activated until after the All-Star break, Piniella said.
