Raisin, any idea of the rotation this weekend, starting manana?

Peoria? I'm not positive with the Rhee injury (he'd have gone tomorrow) but I'd venture to guess tomorrow it'll be Audy Santana, Chris Siegfried on Saturday and Kevin Kreier (if healthy) on Sunday.

Nathan, have you heard how severe Dae-Eun Rhee's injury is? How about Alberto Cabrera - can we expect him back anytime soon?

19-year old Mexican RHP Oswaldo Martinez gets the start for Mesa. He had a fantastic season last year in the AZL which was cut short by Tommy John surgery.

Does anybody know how good Dwayne Kemp can be?

It's tough to tell. He apparently was quite productive in EXST and has had a good showing in the AZL so far, but the guy is 5'8 (and apparently ripped). He's young enough that he still might grow a few inches, but it is hard to tell whether the guy will ever be able to hit for meaningful power in his career. Everything else sounds pretty good, though.

We'll see if he can stick at SS and whether he'll continue to be a switch hitter as he gets older, though.

His defense is a major problem, I can't see him moving to 2b.

Rough outing for Jeffry Antigua. :( Cerda is 2/4 with 2 doubles and Nelson Perez has a double and a HR!

Maestri struggled with 6 H and 4 ER in 6 IP but he racked up 5 more strikeouts. He's got a 6.55 ERA and a BAA near .400 in 2 AA starts but a nice 10-3 K/BB.

Muldowney continues his solid year despite coming off TJS - 5 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 7 K/1 BB. 2.70 ERA at high-A. When he was drafted, the scouting report said he was 88-91 with a great curve; with that type of repertoire, I wouldn't mind seeing him at AA by August. Tony Thomas was 3/5 with a double.

That's Jay Jackson's final line: 4 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 5 K/1 BB on 58 pitches (MiLB.com lies, Muschko pitched the 5th). Josh Donaldson is 2/3.

Argh! Vitters hit the ball really hard with the bases loaded and one out but it turns into a line double play.

Vitters just hit an opposite field double to extend his hitting streak to 15 games now. Everybody thought that the ball was gone; Vitters was in his trot and the ball surprised the fielder.

With his 14-game hitting streak on the line in the 8th inning, Josh Vitters hits an opposite field double (on a 2-2 count) that missed being a HR by inches. Truth be told, both the announcer and I thought it was a HR.

Flaherty moved Vitters to 3rd. Ridling reached on an error and moved to 2nd, Vitters scores to make it 4-3 (we're down) in the 8th.

I'm pretty sure the ball was closer to the middle or lower on the sign, but he did put a charge into it.

Harrison hits a single into left center that tied the game, but he was thrown out trying to 2nd to end the inning. On to the 9th we go.

Yeah, I finally found it on the third or fourth replay. Hit a little over the middle of the sign, missed by about 2 feet.

According to Nathan on the broadcast on Thursday, it's Audy Santana on Friday, then Jose Pina and finally Kevin Kreier depending on how his back exam went on Thursday.
