How long could you/would you abstain from sex if it meant the Cubs would win the World Series?

 

To answer some questions ahead of time: How long could you do it if a certain amount of time would guarantee a World Series? If one year meant a World Series, could you do it? Would you do it?

 

And for those of you that aren't getting any, just pretend that you are...or pretend that you could if you wanted to.

I've definitely missed my share of games on TV in favor of coital experiences, but I voted 3 mos. because that's about as long as I've gone since I started dating my long-term girlfriend (4 years). I definitely could not get her to agree to any longer, even though she is also a huge Cubs fan. If I were single, I would hold out as long as was necessary with very little difficulty.

Dedication from this group. I've gone 2 years before without, right out of college. But now I'm married and still in the honeymoon phase (meaning I get it pretty regularly), I couldn't last more than a month. If I was single, I could definitely go without indefinitely (heh). I just wouldn't put forth the effort. But to lie next to it every night, within poking distance would be hard (that's what she said).
