Even though Marmol is being overused, I still love watching him pitch,

 

And is having him face one batter that bad? One swing of he bat, and the blue jays are back in it.

 

That is what is causing this. I just wish one of our not-as-good relievers could just come in and not have to give up a ton of hits.

Marmol had already been warming up when the tying runs were on last inning. Pitching him for one or two hitters makes no difference. Get over it and quit crying every time he comes in.

Eyre in to pitch for the CUBS

Zaun walked

Zaun took second on a wild pitch

McDonald grounded out to second, 4-3, Zaun to third

Rios flied out to right field , Zaun scored

Scutaro singled to left field

Inglett, pinch hitting for Rolen, doubled to down the left field line , Scutaro to thirdr

Marmol in to pitch for the CUBS

Wells flied out to left field
