Not much to see here, but Pittsburgh beat Arizona 5-3 earlier today, and Dusty Baker's Reds are beating up on the Marlins, 6-0. Griffey hit #600, and of course Paul Bako hit a three-run homer for his fifth of the year, or approximately four more than he had in a cub uniform. if anyone can explain why paul bako is hitting home runs, go for it.

 

also, volquez hasn't given up a hit, but it's only through four.

Bako just hit another home run high off the foul pole.

 

And if the Reds were ever going to sign Neifi, now would be the time. Jerry Hairston Jr. fractured his thumb today on a successful stolen base attempt. He's now the 3rd Reds SS to be on the DL. All they have left on the major league roster is Paul Janish.
