I don't mean to sound like an ass, but I'm starting to get tired of hearing his story. It seems like every single media outlet has written something, tv shows talk about it all the time and it's just starting to get tiresome. We heard it all last year when he started playing with the Reds and now that he's tearing up the AL, we're hearing the same things all over again. At this point, anyone who has yet to hear this story probably doesn't care about baseball or sports in general and probably will never hear about it.

 

I have total respect for what the guy has done and what he's gone through to this point. It's amazing that he not only made it back to the big leagues after everything he's been through but that he's turned into - at least at this point - one of the best hitters in the majors. I'm fine with stories about how he's killing AL pitching this year or questions about whether or not he has a chance at the triple crown. But what I don't need to hear or read is another story about Hamilton's past since it's been rehashed and retold 10000 times already.

 

And if I'm tired of hearing about it, I can only imagine how sick Hamilton is of getting questioned about it.
