Money league team

Head-to-head league. 2 games per week schedule (play 2 teams each for a week, at the same time). Basic scoring for a points league....except, pitching is largely based on wins and saves (10 points for each).

 

My roster is:

1B- Derrek Lee

2B- Utley

SS- Furcal

3B- D Wright

OF- Beltran

OF- BJ Upton

OF- Burrell

U- Adrian Gonzalez

 

SP- Zambrano

SP- Halladay

SP- Lester

SP- Volquez

SP- Jered Weaver

RP- Lyon

RP- F Cordero

 

Bench- Loney, Markakis, Cain, Joba, Olsen.

 

Only trade I made was getting Cain and AJP for Brian Bannister. The rest of my starters were drafted, outside of Volquez who I picked up on waivers when we added an extra bench spot before the season. The Joba and Olsen spots have been add/drops throughout the season, but none have really seen the starting roster yet other than a 2 start week.

 

Believe it or not, this team is 12-4, and has the high score in 5 of the 8 weeks so far. Thanks to the 2-game schedule, I lead the league by over 500 points in total scoring. Don't like the scoring system really, but I don't mind taking people's money. FYI, this league is w/ people I work with. I also won the same baseball league last year, though I cruised to win my division at 2 games over .500 then won close games in the playoffs. Then I won the football league last year, nearly going undefeated.
