The Brewers record in their last 162 games.

 

98-98 is the Brewers Pythagorean record since the beginning of last season.

 

15-19 is their Pythagorean record right now.

 

74-54, the record they'd have to go the rest of the season in order to get to 90 wins, which I doubt would even be enough to win this division.

 

69.3%, the percentage of balls in play their defense has turned into outs, good for 25th in the majors, essentially even with the 68.4% and 25th they managed last season.

 

 

All in all, I'm no longer particularly worried about the Brewers.

I agree, and I've been meaning to look up that stat.

 

I still however think they are a legit team, or at least were before Gallardo.

 

All I know is that they have been building this team for 6-7 years in preparation to compete now. I wouldn't be surprised if they are very active in the trade market this summer. They still have prospects that they can trade.
