TY for getting on the phone Larry.

IIRC, Lou and Marquis aren't exactly BFF's so you really have to wonder how much of a leash he has left.

Woohoo, a DP. Marquis isn't fooling anybody though.

Both pitchers aren't fooling anyone. It's going to be a battle of the bullpens tonight.

I want Pujols to bat at every spot tonight

I wonder what the outcome would be if Pujols got to bat every spot against Marquis. I'm guessing there'd be at least 20 runs scored.

I love giving runs back in the same inning that runs were generated by the offense..

It happens ALL THE TIME!!!

I don't think stats are kept on such a thing, but I'd love to see a stat of the percentage of team at-bats immediately following a multiple-run Cubs inning in which the opposition scores at least one run. I bet it's probably 75% or more

It seems as though Sean Gallagher moves closer to the rotation with every pitch Marquis throws.

no, gallagher is a rookie and marquis is a veteran.

plus Marquis demanded to be started or traded, so we cant risk losing such a valuable member of this team.

How does Marqueef give hits up to the likes of Izturis and Wellemeyer and then get Pujols out twice? It's befuddling.

Pujols destroyed that ball.

I'll buy his plane ticket to wherever he gets traded to. Hell, he can even fly first class if he wants.

This is true

On another note I officially want Lou fired now

On a related note, I wish Cameron Diaz would get hit by a train.

I had a small urge to see that movie until that commercial popped up for the 250th time.

Its a good thing Marmol pitched two innings last night to save the rest of the bullpen for tonight.

I actually don't hate the move as much as everyone else does.
