The West Division is a little more top heavy at this point with 4 teams at 3-1. Two of those teams meet this week. It should be interesting.

Good Luck to everyone that's not playing me.

geez, two starts for hamels and they're against the padres and the giants. don't suppose raw is going to screw that up so that hamels' second start doesn't count, eh?

padres, by the way, have a .225 team batting average and a .297 OBP. that's amazing.

Don has a great pitching line-up this week as well w/ Halladay and Sheets both 2-start pitchers.

Depending on what happens with Smoltz, I may have to pick up a starter midweek. Depending on whether he goes on the DL or not.

Only have 7 starts total on my roster, so no way I could screw that up. Just gotta remember to put Lilly in for whenever the hell he pitches with the rotation change.

Just put him in now. It will say your roster is illegal, but the points will still count and then you can bench him after his start.

It's no different then taking a guy out and having too many people on your bench.

This is not allowed. If you get caught, the 6th pitcher will be dropped.

They'll find a way to eff it up!

I will have a problem getting to 7 starts this week unless I pick up a FA.

i don't think you can do this unless one of your scheduled starters misses a start due to injury.

Oops....you are probably right...I think I am flashing back to the old rules

New rules say that you can adjust your starters, but they must all must be on your team at the start of the week. (Bench or minors). Except for injury of course.

My own stupidity has given me the lead for now. I was going to start Bannister, but forgot that he was on my reserve list, so I escaped having his -22 point outing count against me (I already had Suppan's -24 counting). I lead by 1 point at the moment but have a 4-2 disadvantage in remaining pitching starts, so I'll probably be 3-2 after this week.

I doubt I'll get much sympathy, but in the last few days I've had Gallardo, ARod, Upton and Hughes all get injured. That's a rough stretch right there. The only good news is that Lackey might be back next week.

Two Yankees, a division rival, and a playoff rival. Nope non at all ;-)

My team is absolute crap this week. Another negative pitching start (this time from Jackson) has left me with the lowest score of the week, and only one pitching start remaining. Oh well, may as well get all the crappiness out at once, get completely trounced, and come roaring back next week.

liriano, hill and ubaldo have combined to give me 48 points on the season. i would have expected one or two of them to perform below expectations, but this is ridiculous.

not only are hill's struggles killing my fantasy team (x2), they're killing the cubs in a major way. good luck in the playoffs with a rotation of z, dempster and lieber. yikes.

Is it just me, or are there some really, truly out-of-the-blue type bad performances from various players this year?

Another arm before the All-star break looks like it is going to be very important. I just don't know who the Cubs can go out and get. How about Hill, Pie, Samardzija, and Ceda for Halladay ;-).
