I'm really happy with my team, though I'll be a lot happier if Lackey comes back strong.

My infield is incredible with Martin, Pujols, Weeks, Zimmerman & Tulo.

My outfield + utility is good with Burrell, Pence, Franceour & Kosuke

My pitching is strong with Beckett, Webb, Lackey, Daisuke, Lincecum, E. Santana, Villanueva

I've got good bench depth with Alexei, Bradley, Cust, Ethier & Bonds

I really strengthened my minors in the draft, too

To win it all, I need Lackey to come back strong and I need to get expected steps up from some of the young players on the team. But even without some of those breaks, I think the team is good enough to reach the playoffs.

Too bad SS defense doesn't count anymore.

I love my team. Strengthened my pitching staff greatly with the additions of Erik Bedard, Javier Vazquez and John Smoltz. My infield is easily the best in the league with Teixiera, Cano, Hanley, and Braun. Outfield is also really strong with Eric Byrnes, Delmon Young, Carlos Lee, and Lance Berkman. If JR Towles is pretty good for me, my offense will be putting up huge weeks all the time. This is also not to mention I have two of the best young outfielders in the game on my team as well with Justin Upton and Matt Kemp.

I have a great surplus of talent all the way across the board.

how long is Braun eligible for 3B?

I need a better LF

Braun is eligible for 3B all year long.

That seems odd. So the positions are a year behind but can be updated in the middle of the season?

It's pretty standard. That's the way all fantasy leagues operate. Odd thing is that he's not eligibile to play LF for 20 or so games.

Players are eligible at their primary position, plus positions they've played 20 games last year or 5 games this year.

Reading is a skill. :D

Okay, that's even MORE odd. If you played 19 games there last year, you aren't eligible, but if you play 6 this year, you are.

Besides, I don't read the rules anymore. They're just so incomplete.

I've never seen a league that set the same games played requirements for previous year and current year.
