I was at a game at Wrigley, couple of years back. Rainy Saturday afternoon in June, Brewers won, I think 16-5. After the 5th (or was it 6th?)HR that was hit by the Brewers, the guy in the row in front of me got up to leave and grabbed his family, announcing that I had ruined his afternoon.

I simply mentioned that it had been Glendon Rusch that had ruined his afternoon, I was simply cheering that fact. Didn't seem to placate him for some reason...

Update: Well, as a Brewer fan it was a good game. The fans were very nice, the guys next to us even gave us half a bottle of Bacradi that they snuck in. We cheered and got booed, nothing out of the ordinary. I swear when Fukodome hit that HR the Cubs fans that we were sitting next to tripled and everyone was getting their shots in. All in good fun though.

At one point my bother got a little lippy and I told him to knock it off and everything cleared up. The weather stunk but I did get to eat at Taco Bell (A plus in my book). I was a little surprised at the booing on Opening Day from the Cubs fans. Pretty classless but I am a believer in only booing poor effort, not results.

Overall a fun time. Stadium was cool but a little worn down. I never did get a chance to use the trough like urnals and we did find a Wisconsin bar before and after the game.

Not a bad time at all. One last observation. The Cubs fans that were there were great but it is a complete 180 when they come to Miller Park. It's almost as if they feel the need to act like idiots (though provoked in many instances) as a defense mechanism.
