1st Randall Simon

2nd Neifi Perez

SS that guy that Baker played because he "knew his way around Yankee stadium"

3rd Fat Delino- how quickly we forget

LF Cliff Floyd

CF Angel Pagan

RF Jaques Jones

SP Steve Trachsel

RP Kent Mercker

I forget, because Delino played 2B/SS. Unless you mean somebody I don't follow.

And I'm not sure what Simon did to deserve disdain. I actually quite liked him. Cliff/Pagan I'm not sure about either, although neither were very good, so I suppose that could be the only reason.

Fat Delino = Lenny Harris

Fassero has to make the list too.

I'm behind this whole list - except here. I loved the Farns. And yes, it's mostly because he threw really hard and punched someone in the face. Immature or not, that was awesome.

I vote you replace him with Felix Heredia. God I hated him so much.

I'm with you on this but if you're going to pick relief pitchers, I'm going with Mel Rojas and Dave Smith

Well, Rojas was already on the list and I don't remember Smith. (or rojas either, for that matter).

I do, however, vividly remember Heredia sucking horribly. I also remember, however, that on whatever baseball game i was playing at the time - Probably Sammy Sosa High Heat 2001 - Heredia was lights out.

I like your list. Though I'm too young to really remember Sandberg or Dawson. I don't know anything about why you would/wouldn't like or dislike Dawson - but everything I see Sandberg say just reeks of bitter old man "Well back in my day!!!" type stuff. Though, If I would have seen him play I probably would have loved him.

Please explain? I've meet Dawson a couple of times, and he's been the nicest person. So naturally I don't get your "beef" with Dawson.

Im surprised that Prior doesnt get more hate. The guy wasted 3 1/2 years of our time, and then wouldnt sign for less when the time came. He got pissed t the team at the begining of last season when he didnt make the opening day roster, and then proceeded not to pitch at all.

And if you're going to go strictly by performance, I might have to add Mark Guthrie, Antonio Alfonseca, and of course Alex "If it werent for Steve Bartman grabbing for a ball that an aging Moises Alou never would have caught anyway, Id be more hated than Bill Buckner" Gonzales.

i just hate dawson, if it weren't for stone, he'd be my arch nemesis.

I absolutely despise this argument. "He wasted 3 1/2 years of our time." How about this - We ruined his baseball career by pitching him 211 innings in his first full season in the big leagues and routinely leaving him out there for more than 110 pitches. In fact, in just short of TWO THIRDS of his starts that year he was left on the mound for 110+ pitches (19 out of 30) And that was just the regular season.

The Cubs destroyed his arm - they lost all ability to be mad about him getting injured when they did that. It'd be like me shooting my car engine with a shotgun then getting pissed at the dealer for selling me a lemon that won't start. He has a perfectly good reason to be mad at us - we killed his arm.

And who can be mad at him for going to SD? That's his home. He was unhappy here - he went somewhere where he'd be happier AND get paid more. Are you telling me you've never been unhappy at a job and wished you could quit and go somewhere where you'd be happy?

This whole Prior-Hate thing is ludicrous.

Everyone pay attention to sulleymon, he wants attention.

He definitely seems to be looking for a fight.

But yeah, I don't see how Baker can't win this contest.

Bye Dusty
