Rolen Injured Already

Scott Rolen already is out. I thought that he'd at least play the first week of the season before something would happen. I know that it most likely isn't that serious, but it sounds like he'll definitely be missing some time.

Man I remember the pre-ARam days, in which the Cubs were looking for anything remotely looking like a 3rd baseman. And I remember the Cubs being interested in Rolen, but so was the Reds and the Cards. And I also remember how mad I got when the Cards got Rolen for so little. Polanco, a crappy lefty with a lucky no-hitter, and a serviceable reliever.

 

The point of the story is....I am so glad the Cubs got ARam instead of Rolen.
