Demptser, but looking at MLB scoreboard, Gallagher is about to drop his trade value once again.

 

They already took him out. It looks like he couldn't get the ball over the plate.

That's what I thought. It appears that DLEE went deep. 1-0 Cubs still batting bottom 7

Well, someone must have had a good start today for the Cubs. Any idea who it was?

 

Dempster went:

 

5.1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 7 K

 

The Cubs only have 4 hits on the day. 2 from Theriot (including a triple), 1 from Ramirez, and 1 from Blanco. The other Cubs highlight is that Fukudome threw out a runner at home.

Who the hell is "Thomas"? hes our DH today, yet theres nobody on the roster, or any invitees by that name.

 

Tony Thomas, the Cubs 3rd rounder last year out of Florida State.

never mind, career minor leaguer Les Walrond bailed him out.

 

That's overreacting? Les Walrond, save 4-5 starts in 2006 is a career minor leaguer. I'll give you the former comment, barely.

 

Overreactions are much much much worse in the regular season, as you know of course.
