I imagine it's written obviously somewhere, I just haven't seen it. Injured again?

 

He's in camp as I watched him throw a bullpen the other day and looked good.

"He's feeling OK," Piniella said of Petrick, "but he doesn't have much velocity. There's no sense in rushing that. He's coming off an injury. His chances of making the team aren't very good, so there's no sense in rushing him. Let's get him nice and strong and so he has more arm strength. Then we can pitch him a little or send him down so he can build up arm strength there."

 

Uh oh, the velocity might still not be back after dipping at the end of last season.
