Bullett Proof New Era Baseball, owned and operated by former professional player Scott Bullett, is hosting a one-day baseball clinic with Blue Jays' instructors on Sunday, March 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Niagara Sports Plex located on 3710 Sinnicks Ave., in Niagara Falls.

Bullett, 39, who will pitch for the Rose City Thorns of the Niagara District Baseball Association in 2008, played in the outfield for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs between 1988 and 1996

it's too bad he wasn't any good, because there aren't many cooler names than scott bullett.

He was faster than hell, though.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was thinking of Ced Landrum.

It's too he wasn't better at baseball, cause he could absolutely fly. He got on base 40 times in his career and stole a base 27 of those times.

I was a big fan of Ced Landrum's speed, but unfortunately he had absolutely no offensive ability. 27 out of 32 stolen bases in '91 was pretty good though!
