Not the one(s) we were expecting:

Orioles acquired outfielder Chris Roberson from the Phillies for a player to be named.

This is really scraping the bottom of the barrel for center-field options. Roberson, 28, posted OPSs of 715 and 663 in his two years in Triple-A and hit .232/.254/.261 in stints with the Phillies the last two years. He has just one extra-base hit and one walk in 69 at-bats as a major leaguer. Jeff Fiorentino was a better use of a 40-man roster spot.

Desparate aren't they? Because they did this, is there a hold up with the Roberts trade? EPatt is certainly better than Roberson.

They're gonna send him over with Roberts so we have someone to start over Pie because Roberson has panache, something Pie lacks severely and is clearly the key element in a great baseball player's makeup

Who was that guy 2-3 offseasons ago that was posting literally every single move announced on Rotoworld? Wasn't it an Astros fan? Whatever happened to that guy?

(No offense PriorPower, this just reminded me of it)
