why can't I get in premium?

I'm liking the look of the board, the ads are a bit annoying but I can live with them.

 

Now can anyone explain why I read through this thread thinking (at first glance) all Roast's posts were mine?

Any word on when to expect Premium back? Aside from the adds, I keep finding myself clicking on the premium link on the front page and getting frustrated when it takes me nowhere....

I'll have to get the premium links on the front page removed.

 

As I stated elsewhere, the premium interface will no longer have a separate link. Everything will be done through the Forum link, eliminating the need for separate thread links, etc. Premium users will not see the ads for now and I will be adding additional features for premium users, which should be relatively straightforward now that I know how to use the templating system in phpbb3.

 

However, there are not many mods out yet to add to the premium interface. As they become available, I'll add them on.

Every feature that has ever been in Premium is present now. The only difference is that I'm now able to do it within a single set of web pages instead of having to have separate links for everything.

I saw Tim say this somewhere, so I'll help him out here:

 

Right now, the only difference between premium and regular is that premium members don't see ads.

 

Tim doesn't quite know what improvements and mods will be added on to this version of the board software, but he'll investigate and as they're added he'll add more features to premium.

All users can currently use that...Premium or non-Premium. It's in the user control panel. On the left side go to "friends and foes". Anyone listed as a "foe" will be ignored.
