He will be a free agent, i dont think he will resign with the same role....does he move to closer, being unproven in that role, or does he become a starter?? or does he say goodbye??

He will sign to be a reliever somewhere next year. I doubt somebody signs him to be a closer right away, but the Yankees would surely be interested in a potentially dominant set-up man.

I would guess that he re-signs with the Cubs for 3-5 mil as a reliever, unless someone is willing to pay a large chunk more than that for him to be a starter/closer somewhere.

I doubt someone signs him as a starter. It would be a question mark if you put him at closer, too. Nobody can reliably say what would happen to Kerry's arm if a team needed him to close a few games in a row, or even just a lot of games over a month-long stretch.
